Question:

I own a 2009 Nissan Frontier that did not come with the tow package. I have previously installed the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part #118525. Can I just install a Replacement Wiring Harness for Tow Ready Nissan Vehicle Wiring Harness part #118267 as 7-way blade connector or do I need anything else? Also, will my Frontier control the trailers electric brakes? do I really need an electric brake controller?

I contacted the manufacturer and they told me that adding the Replacement Wiring Harness, Item # 118267, should get your 7-way connector ready to go.

You also must have a brake controller in order to control the electric brakes on your trailer. I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller, Item # 90195. You will also need a brake controller harness and the manufacturer confirmed that the Tekonsha Plug-In Adapter, Item # 3050-P, will work.
