Question:

How is this box mounted? I know the boxes with the lip over the side rails there is a coupling to secure the box from the under lip of the truck sides. since this box only sits on the floor is the only mounting is to drill holes in the floor of the bed?

The DeeZee Red Label 5th Wheel Toolbox, part # DZ8560WB can be installed to the truck bed or it can just sit on the truck bed with no mounting required. The tool box can go behind the truck cab or at the back end of your truck to accommodate your fifth wheel hitch.

To install the DeeZee Toolbox to the truck bed of your 2008 Chevrolet Silverado you will need to drill four 3/16 inch holes through the bottom of the fifth wheel toolbox into your truck bed. Then, you will use the (4) included 1/4 x 1 inch sheet metal screws to attach the toolbox to the bed.
