16 inch Trailer Wheel Recommendation with 8 Lug Bolt Pattern

Question:
We have had 4 Dexstar 16 steel 8 lug wheels all leak at the weld mid wheel. I have 2 questions. 1. are the 110lbs rated tires too heavy or too much air pressure for the wheels? Since 4 have leaked from the weld on the wheel. and 2. is there a wheel you recommend that is a little better?

It sounds like you have a bad batch of wheels if they are all leaking the same spot. 110 psi should not be a problem for a 16 inch wheel at all. Normally a valve stem fails long before the wheel would.
That said the Taskmaster rim part # TA55VR is a 16 inch diameter wheel that is 6 inches wide and has an 8 on 6-1/2 inch bolt pattern.
