You have exactly what you need for installing a brake controller in your 2014 Ram 1500.

Brake controllers, like your Curt TriFlex # C24VV, aren't necessarily vehicle specific, but the plug-in wiring adapter harnesses are. The correct one for your 1500 is the Curt # C51453 that you referenced. This will plug into the port under your driver side dash and allow you to easily install and remove the controller when needed.
