Question:
Im towing a 26ft, 4,900lb dry TT behind my Ford Expedition, and wanting to tow 4 bikes as well. The bumper wont hold a mounted bike rack, so I was wanting to do a dual-receiver hitch since its the easier and cheaper option. I dont know much about tongue weight and related issues, but was curious if you think this is a doable set-up or if i need to go ahead and install a hitch receiver on the back of my TT for this. Thanks for any help you can offer.

As long as a 2-1/4" drop will allow your truck to tow the trailer level then I recommend using the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount part # D210 as this will let you to add a 4-bike rack and tow a trailer without sacrificing tongue weight or towing capacity. This option also allows for a much wider variety of accessories to be used as they do not have to be RV approved.
For a 4-bike rack that will work with this ball mount I recommend the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 4-Bike Platform Rack part # HR1400Z. The Sport Rider SE is an excellent option and is compatible with a wide variety of different bikes. It has adjustable wheel cradles, a locking hitch pin to secure the rack to the vehicle, and locking cables to secure the bikes to the rack. You can check out some of its other features in the video I have attached for you.
You will need 46" of clearance between the hitch pin hole and trailer in order for this option to work for you. If you do not have this much space then you will want to carry the bikes on the rear of the RV using a hitch like part # 13703 and an RV approved bike rack like part # Y02476. I have also attached a review video of this bike rack for you as well.
