Does the Thule Roof Mounted Cargo Basket fit a 2008 Honda Element? Also, are there straps or netting that fit this particular model?

As long as the crossbars on your 2008 Honda Element are are between 20 inches and 37 inches apart, the Thule Canyon XT # TH859XT
For netting, and to keep cargo secured, you can use the Cargo Net, part # CS54FR.
