Can the Quick Fist Mini Clamps # QF30050 be Installed with Open Jaws Facing Down

Question:
I would like to mount these on the underside of my truck tool box lid, to store items that weigh about 15lbs. My question is, once I close the lid will the clamp still hold the item, even if upside down? Thanks

Yes, since the jaws are what will be holding the items they will be able to handle 15 lbs of weight.
The Quick Fist Mini Clamps # QF30050 are rated for 25 lbs each so 15 lbs will not be a problem at all.
