The lid for the DeeZee Specialty Series ATV Toolbox # DZM206 actually has a single gas shock and a locking paddle handle with a guide plate. This will keep the lid open until you push down on it for easy access to the toolbox.

The locking, stainless steel paddle will give you some extra security for your equipment. It comes with 2 keys to operate the lock so that you can keep one in a safe place.
