What is the Difference Among Single Stage Regulators for RVs and Trailers
Published 02/02/2018 >
Question:
What is the difference between a 10 psi, 11 psi, and 30 psi single stage regulator? I have a RV with dual tanks on 2 sides with the far side having a single stage regulator at the tank before it goes across the RV to a dual stage regulator. Will any of these regulators work?

The important thing to look at in a regulator is the water column pressure rating or W.C. because that is how you will see propane accessories rated. Propane appliances in RVs and trailers run off of low pressure and pretty much all regulators, including # CAM59013, will reduce the pressure to an 11 inch water column rating.
A single stage regulator does it all in one stage. On a dual stage regulator the pressure is reduced twice but still down to an 11 inch W.C. If you need to replace the single stage regulator just make sure that the one you choose also has the appropriate BTU/hour rating. I have included a link to the regulators we carry for you.
