Height of the Thule Pulse L on a 2011 Toyota Prius

Question:
I am trying to determine if a Pulse L box on a Prius will fit into most public garages. Most have height restrictions of no more than 6 feet. Will this be exceeded if I add one to my 2011 Prius?

Though this will widely depend on your crossbars, the Thule Pulse L, part # TH615 is about 16-1/2 inches tall, and with the 59 inch height of your 2011 Toyota Prius will exceed six feet without the crossbars at around 75.5 inches tall.
A comparable sized box that will have a lower profile is the Thule Vector Alpine, part # TH613501. This box is about 4 inches shorter at 12-1/2 inches tall, and would result in a total height of 71 inches, barely clearing your 6 foot height without adding in the crossbars height.
To get your crossbar height, you'll measure to the top of the bar from the roof. This is easier with a rigid ruler.
