Question:

I have a 2013 BMW 335i, 2016 BMW M235IX and 2006 Porsche Carrera 2S. Porsche is driven summers only and not daily drivers like BMWs Looking at CTEK mus 4.3. I currently use a Battery Plus maintainer on the P car via the cigarette plug socket for convenience and risk of battery going too low so not allowing access to front truck. Porsche has a replacement Interstate battery on board. I have not checked the BMWs yet for live socket for use of cig plug but the BMWs have mechanical access to battery so cig plug would not be mandatory. Also, what is difference between the 2 different cig. adapters ? and is the mus 4.3 charge and test device a better choice and is it compatabile with cig. adapter for my vehicles?

I have a CTEK charger part # CTEK56353 like what you referenced and found that it does a great job keeping the car I have parked charged. The cigarette light adapter part # CTEK56263 makes it easy to connect to the vehicle battery as all you have to do is plug it in and your set. This is the only adapter we have for this charger so this would be the way to go.
