Can Timbren Suspension Enhancement be Used with SuperSprings on a 2007 Chevy Silverado Classic 3500

Question:

I have a 2007 Chevy Classic Dually 4X4. I have Super Springs mounted but still have some rear sag when I load my Lance 1172 camper, camper loaded weight is about 4500lbs. My question is whether the Timbren Suspension Enhancers will work with the Super Springs and do you think it will help the rear sag, Thanks

The reason why you are not seeing all of that rear sag being taken care of with the SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer installed is because the part with the highest weight capacity for your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 is part # SSA245-2. Since this part has a weight capacity of 4,000 lbs it will not be able to help as much as it would if your camper did not weight over 4,000 lbs.

The SuperSprings product that you have on your 3500 will not allow some Timbren Suspension enhancement systems to be installed since they both have to do with the leaf spring suspension on your Silverado. We do have the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRTT35S that replaces your factory bump stop which comes in contact with your rear axle only and not your leaf springs.

This has an 8,000 lb weight capacity so it will do a great job at taking our the sag from your camper. Keep in mind that any suspension enhancement is designed to be used with a suspension system that is in good working order. Also, it will not increase the weight carrying capacity of your vehicle.

I have linked a video of the similar Timbren System # TGMRCK25S being installed on a 2007 Silverado 2500 that you can use as a reference for the installation.
