Can Pop-A-Plate Hold 9 inch Melamine Plates

Does it fit 9" melamine plates?

We've never tested it but I doubt it. To get paper plates into the Pop-A-Plate, part # CAM57001, they need to bend a bit and Melamine plates are not plyable like that. They're also likely too heavier than I would be comfortable hanging upside down.
