Question:
Saw Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger was excited, but I thought it was an AC battery charges that I could mount under the hood. My 2001 F350s battery goes dead if it sits too long in the cold. Thought a slow charger run in parallel with my block heater would be ideal. Your thoughts?

What might be your best option is a charger like the CTEK part # CTEK56353. With this you can install the ring terminal quick-disconnect to your battery and then easily plug in the charger when you need to let it sit for a while.
