Can the 2-Way Pop Up Ventilator be Installed on the Side of a Cargo Trailer

Is this vent meant to be mounted on the side of a cargo trailer? Thanks

I went to the warehouse and pulled the 2-Way Pop Up Ventilator, # RV-626-062, and checked to see if there is a gasket in the opening of the vent and there is. This should keep weather out of the vent when closed. I did a short video showing the gasket and how the ventilator works to open in either direction.

Your main concern might be that the vent will stick out 2-1/2 inches when closed and 6-1/2 inches when fully open. As long as the fenders are out farther than this on the sides of your trailer, this item should work well for you.
