Compatibility of Timbren Trailer Idler Hub Assemblies with 1 Inch Spindle Axles

Question:

I have a snowbear trailer and need to replace the hub assemblies. I have the book, and it says that there is a 1inch spindle/axle. I am just wondering how I can determine the size of the axle hole on some of your hubs... specifically timbrens TA88545-2. If that doesnt fit, what will fit. I have a 5 on 4 1/2 pattern, and would prefer the ezlube assembly. thanks

The Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,500-lb Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 # TA88545-2 are the correct fit for your 1 inch straight spindles. The L44649 bearings are 1.063 inches inner diameter which are compatible with what are typically referred to as 1 inch straight spindle axles. They will work perfectly on your Snowbear trailer with your EZ Lube grease caps.
