Expert Reply:
The MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat - Manual Lift - 10 Speed - White # MA00-05100K requires a minimum 5 amp 12 volt DC service. My contact at MaxxAir could not give me the wattage or amperage draw at max power, but at minimum the amperage draw is 5 amps. To utilize solar power to charge your battery and allow 12V accessory functions, I recommend the Redarc BCDC Dual Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1240D designed to allow solar power input charging.
