The Stromberg Carlson Extend-A-Shower Shower Curtain Rod # EXT-3542S is intended for RV applications in showers that are 35- to 42-inches wide but it could certainly find uses in domestic shower installations. The rod is 45-3/4-inches long overall but it can pivot at two points along its length. We also offer a version in white, part # EXT-3542.
Since I am not certain exactly how you measured your shower area you can compare the spacing of the two mounting points. If you like you can send along a photo to show where you measured your 24-inch dimension. All of our RV shower curtain rods are shown on the linked page.
