Why Do Curt Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeves # C45408 Only Have One Hitch Pin Hole

Question:

how can this part work with only 1 hole for 5/8inch pin? Should there not be a second hole to attach device to same as other reducing sleeves you offer which have 2 pin holes.....? thank you

The Curt Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeves # C45408 only has one hitch pin hole per sleeve as it is not designed to be a hitch extender and protrude out of the hitch opening. The sleeves are designed to fit flush in the hitch they are installed in.
