In order to prevent theft of the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount part # BWTS20048B you will want to use an extra long locking hitch pin like part # e98881 in the hitch pin hole thats connects the shank to the trailer hitch. The hitch balls cannot be removed while the ball mount is locked to the trailer trailer hitch due to the internal slot in the shank.
