Ive got a Curt 17057 1400 lb. bars that Id like to change for 1000# bars. Is the Curt 17115 the correct replacement WD bar? ...or is there some other part no.?

Yes, the correct spring bars you need are the # C17073 which will change your current system to a lower tongue weight range of 800-1,000 lbs.
