While the Hopkins Trailblazer Electronic Deer Alert, # HM27512VA, is primarily marketed as a deer alert, it will also work to ward off other animals such as dogs, cats, moose, honey badgers, ocelots and other animals that frequently cross roads. Since this unit is electronic, it works at any speed and has a 1/4 mile range.
