Question:
My roof vent is measuring 13 1/2inch x 13 1/2. Will this item work in my vent? I didnt want to buy it if it is not the right one, however I thought with only a 1/2inch difference that it might work or is suppose to be that way in order to stay in the vent without falling out. Thank you for your help.

The vast majority of RV roof vents measure a nominal 14 x 14-inches and fit into a roof opening that is naturally slightly larger, usually 14-1/4 x 14-1/4-inches. The small 1/2-inch difference you noted may simply be a result of shrinking of the original plastic vent material which does occur from UV exposure.
The Camco RV Vent Insulator # CAM45192 you referenced will fit just fine in your RV to help keep you protected from the cold and sun. The fleece cover is removable for easy vacuum cleaning.
If you need a little help reaching the vent you might consider the Telesteps step # TE97FR. This is low in cost, lightweight and it folds up for storage - yet it gives you a foot of extra reach.
