Follow-up question: can you recommend a solution for my 2013 BMW X3 with a naked roof, if I don't install the crossbar I mentioned?

The BMW roof rack mentioned is a standard aero style crossbar roof rack which we have plenty of bike racks that would fit.
What you can use is the Thule ProRide part # TH598004 which will fit the bars and allow you to load a bike and leave the front wheel installed. You'll need one for each of your bikes as we do not have any dual bike racks.
