The Camco Propane Appliance Extension Hose # CAM59883 referenced in your question is designed to do exactly what you are needing it for. This 5 foot long extension hose will give you more length and freedom to use your grill with a 20 pound or 30 pound refillable propane tank. It has a 1/4 inch female NPT connector on one end that will connect to the propane tank and a 1/4 inch male NPT connector on the other end to connect with your grill.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can also check out.
