Question:

I own an access lorado tonneau cover for my 2007 silverado classic with the 6.5ft bed, I am thinking about purchasing a 2015 silverado 1500 with the 6.5 ft bed. Would my cover be able to swap over to the new truck? or would I have to purchase a new cover? From looking at the lorado on your site it appears the new truck should use the Access Lorado Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover Item # A42329 and my 07 silverado should have the Access Lorado Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover Item # 834532006380. Is there any difference between these two covers? they have identicle descriptions so I wasnt sure. Thank you,

You would have to go with a new tonneau cover as there was two generation changes between a 2007 Classic body Silverado and a 2015. The bed dimensions are slightly different and the bed rails are also changed as well. Manufacturers do not like having to come up with new part number fits for trucks as that costs them money so if there ever is a way for them to carry over a part numbers fit to a new vehicle without having to make changes they do it.

The correct Access Lorado for a 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 6.5 foot bed is the part # A42329 you mentioned also.
