Troubleshooting One Running Light that Doesnt Work When Everything Else Does

Question:
I have on a small trailer and everything but one running light works on the right side I have brake lights and turn signal but I do not have a running light Ive replaced bulb and now have replaced the whole light... But everything else works ? Thanks for the help.

It sounds like you have a short in that running light wire since you replaced the bulb and now the entire light fixture. I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to test power on the wire coming into that light. If you don't have power, trace the wire to find the short using the tester every few feet and replace wire as needed. If you have power at that light, then the ground may need to be cleaned up from debris or rust, and possibly even moved for a better connection to your trailer frame.
