Need to know how much ground clearance is recommended when jack foot is retracted? Does Bulldog or anyone give this info?

There isn't a specific amount of ground clearance required when installing a jack such as Square Direct Weld Jack # TJD-12000SP-R2NH. You would mount it however it is needed for your trailer. The overall height of the jack when fully retracted is 28 inches. When fully extended and the drop leg all the way out as far as it can go the height is 40-1/4 inches. Based on this information you will be able to figure out the position that will work best on your trailer.
