Now where do I put the license plate when using the trailer hitch?

With the Curt Trailer Hitch, # C11387, installed on a Mini Clubman, the receiver tube is directly behind the license plate area on the back and you are left with 2 options for the license plate. You can bolt the plate to the back of the vehicle using the top holes in the plate and the bottom holes on the vehicle below the receiver opening. This is the method that Curt shows in the installation instructions which I have linked for you.
