For your 28 foot enclosed trailer, I'll give you the recommendation for parts all in the color black, but other color options are available and easy to find once you have the list of parts needed. Let me know if you need help with colors or have any questions based on my recommendations.
To start, I recommend the Solera 21' Solid Black RV Awning Roller and Fabric (Std) # LCV000211532. This will be the fabric and the roller bar and is the longest length we currently carry. To hold that roller, you will need the Solera Universal Awning Support Arms for RVs - Hybrid - 69" Arms - Black # LC434727. This will come with the manual crank head, two arm assemblies, the crank rod, and fasteners. To extend and retract you will simply hook and turn as the internal gear box allows you to stop the awning at any point in between fully extended or retracted.
The final part you need is the Solera Rail Extrusion - Black - 8 ft Long # LC715217. You will actually need 3 of these. Every awning needs at least 6" of extension past the center of the arm measurement on each side to support of the tension on the awning material so you will need to have 22 feet of rail extrusion. You will cut one section and place it in the middle of the 3 sections butted together. I recommend using butyl tape for this installation like you find with the hardware in the Camco RV Vent Installation Kit - Rubber Roofs or Sidewalls - White Butyl Tape # CAM25013.
I've attached some videos to assist with the installation. Let me know if you have further questions.
