Question:
I have 5th wheel RV. Have ST235/80 R16 on six tires plus two spares. If I want to get G Load rated will I have to buy 8 tires or can my spares be 80s? See the only G rated is 85. Trailer is 16,000 dry.

Helpful Expert Reply:
If you want Load Range G tires on your trailer with 16 inch diameter wheels you need to go to the size 235/85R16 like the part # TTWPRG235R16 which is the Load Range you want and has a weight capacity of 4,400 lbs at 110 psi and a speed rating of 81 mph.
In the size ST235/80 R16 we do not have anything rated high enough. I also recommend highly that you match all of your tires to the size you need.
