The Dutton-Lainson two speed winch, part # DL15440 would be an excellent choice for a heavier boat like your pontoon. Dutton-Lainson winches offer a good balance between performance and cost.
A two speed jack is ideal for getting a heavier boat up onto a trailer, the lower speed works well for getting the boat lined up and started onto the trailer, and the higher gear offers additional mechanical advantage to get the boat pulled up and seated correctly on he trailer.
For wire rope you'd then need the part # DL24104 for 50 feet.
