Question:
Does this fan have a decent vice to close cover if it rains the remote says It does.

The Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent # FV807350 does have a rain sensor that will automatically close the dome and shut off the fan when it gets wet. When the sensor is dry the fan will then resume.
The Digital Remote Control # FV9068-81 that you referenced is a great accessory for the fan that allows you to adjust the fan settings without having to even touch it.
