Question:
I am debating between Timbren and Sumosprings solution for my 2012 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 170 WB Cargo van. Main reason is that I would like to reduce swaying and rocking issues. Sometimes I have feeling that I am going to be sea sick in my van. I am often hauling loads up to 3000lbs. Had my vehicle inspected twice in local MB dealership and everything is by manufacturers specs according to their technicians. Could you please take a moment and recommend best solution for my vehicle please. Thanks.

Both the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TMBRSP25A and the SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-326-47-1 will help reduce the swaying and rocking issues you are having with your 2012 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500. However, both of these products are more or less geared towards load leveling not necessarily sway control.
The best option I have to help with swaying and rocking is a rear sway control bar or on vehicles that already have a rear sway control bar, an upgraded sway control bar. For this, I recommend using the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar for Vans part # RM-1209-128. If you don't already have a rear sway control bar you will also want to use the Retro-Fit Kit for Dodge Sprinter Van without Factory Sway Bars part # RM-590064-00.
Should you decide against a sway control bar, I recommend going with the SumoSprings as they will not have as rough or harsh of a ride in comparison to the Timbren option. I have attached a review video of the rear sway control bar for you as well.
