Yes, Reese Replacement Head # RP58167 will work with your existing 1200 lb Trunnion Bars, # RP66009. This replacement head includes the mounting hardware and serrated washers. It works with balls that have a 1 1/4" shank like # 19286, which is rated for 12,000 lb or # 63840, which is rated for 20,000 lb.
When installing the new trunnion bars, you will need to grease the system as you are putting it together. I recommend the LubriMatic Biobased White Lithium Grease, # L11354. This thick lithium grease holds up better than standard petroleum greases under higher heats. This grease will hold its thick consistency which will help in lubrication of the weight distributions moving parts. To properly grease the system, Reese recommends following these steps:
Lubricate the head sockets and spring bar trunnions to prevent rapid wear. When hooking-up, place one drop of grease on the top and a second drop on forward side of upper trunnion. Place a third drop on the rear side of lower trunnion before inserting trunnion into head. Use a heavy oil or grease. Don't forget to lubricate the hitch ball with one or two drops also. Trunnions should be lubricated each towing day. It is not necessary to unhook the spring bars however, as there are two oil holes in the head top plate for upper trunnion lubrication. Lubricate lower trunnions with one drop at contact point between trunnion and lower socket. Excess oil, dirt, and grit should be wiped out whenever trailer is uncoupled.
