The unlevel fit on a set of aftermarket towing mirrors are not so much of a design flaw as they are to improve visibility. For a set of replacement towing mirrors confirmed to fit your 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 and do not have as much of an unlevel angle as other options, I recommend the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors part # KS62073-74G.
The K-Source Towing Mirrors will replace your factory side mirrors and are manually extendable for an optimized viewing angle. They have built-in spotters mirrors on the bottom of the assembly to further reduce blind spots. The main mirror face is also adjustable.
I have included a review of these mirrors in addition to a photo of what they will look like while installed. If you have electric or heated mirrors please let me know and I can provide an option that will allow you to retain these features.

Hi Connor, I have a 2002 Silverado LS and both the driver and the passenger mirrors need to be replaced. Right now at the moment they just have standard mirrors on there, but I want to upgrade it to tow and mirrors. They are powered adjusted mirrors, but I don’t believe they’re heated. The glass has been covered with stick on mirror. I can’t tell if they are heated or not. What product would you recommend?

It doesn't improve visibility. Most of the aftermarket mirrors that tilt up are at maximum adjustment in the collapsed position. The inability to use the mirror when not towing and the fact that they just look stupid should be enough of a deterrent for purchase. I am a disappointed purchaser....
