Recommended Bike Rack and Fat Tire Adapter That Will fit 4.8 Tires

There are some great bike racks and racks with adapters that will work with your 4.8" tires, though the Kuat Transfer 2 # KU74FR will only accept tires up to 4.5" wide with the adapter. I highly recommend checking out the Kuat NV 2.0 # BA22B, which comes with an adapter to carry one fat bike with 4.8" tires, though if you needed to carry a pair of fat bikes you could add the Phat Bike Adapter Kit for Kuat Bike Racks # APBK. The Kuat NV is a premium rack that uses ratcheting hooks to grasp your wheels as well as straps so there is never frame contact with your bike. It also features a foot lever so you can easily tilt the rack down with the bikes loaded for access to your rear storage.
