Expert Reply:
The Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package # DM6194 is what you will want to use if your truck has a short bed. It provides standard base rails in place of the pucks on your 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 enabling you to still use your Reese 16K 5th Wheel Hitch. Keep in mind that you will want a sliding hitch for trailer-to-cab clearance when making sharp turns.
If you still wanted to use your 16K Reese Titan head you could simply replace the stationary legs with sliding legs # RP50024. This will give you 10" of travel to help accommodate your sharp turns.
If you have a long bed then you will need a different 5th wheel hitch like the Curt # C16520-16025 which will fit the long bed Silverado 3500.
