Question:

I am looking at the Curt Tow Bar Item # C19745. I need to know how far apart the bolt holes are for the bumper brackets. I already have mounting brackets installed on my vehicle but I dont have the tow bar and trying to find one that will fit my brackets. The holes on my brackets are three inches apart.

The holes on the brackets that come with the Curt Tow Bar # C19745 are separated by 4 inches on center. The only other tow bar that we currently have to offer that uses the tabs is the Tow Ready Adjustable Tow Bar # 63180 but the holes on the brackets are the same measurement for that as well.

You may have an easier time going with a more contemporary option like a base plate kit that works with a tow bar like the Roadmaster Falcon 2 # RM-520. If you let me know what the year/make/model is of your vehicle I can see if we have a confirmed fit for a base plate that is compatible with your vehicle.
