Lighting/wiring options include harness kits and diode kits, all shown on the linked page. I suggest Roadmaster diode kit # RM-154 along with Quick Battery Disconnect # RM-766. You can use a wiring kit like # BX8861 to make connection quick and easy.

For a braking system for the Fortwo the best option is the Blue Ox Patriot part # BLU37TR, which installs using 12V outlet # RM-9332. The Patriot II is fully-portable, meaning you can move it to your next towed car without any hassle, and it features wireless operation for easy set-up.
