What is the Hitch Pin Hole Diameter for Convert-A-Ball Cushioned Ball Mount AMSC4
Updated 09/19/2017 | Published 09/18/2017 >
Question:
Is the pin hole diameter actually 5/8? The information I printed from this site last week, on this item part # AMSC4, stated that the pin hole diameter was 1/2.

Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 2-3/4" Rise, 4" Drop - 10,000 lbs Item # AMSC4 does indeed have a 5/8 inch diameter pin hole. That is the standard size for 2 inch ball mounts. The standard size for 1-1/4 inch ball mounts is 1/2 inch.
If you have a 2 inch hitch receiver then you will be good to go with this ball mount. But if you have a 1-1/4 inch it will not fit. Convert-A-Ball doesn't have a cushioned ball mount for 1-1/4 inch hitches.
