Available Disc Brake Conversion Kits for Tandem 5th Wheel Trailer with 6K Axles

Question:

Do you have a full conversion kit for tandem Lippert 6000# axles with 6 lug wheels. All I can find is a single axle kit with no actuator or lines. My RV is a Grand Design Reflection 36 ft 5th wheel camper, model 337

For your 6K axles we do have all the items you need but they just are not put together as a complete kit. The linked page displays all 6K disc brakes, all of which use the 6-on-5-1/2-inch wheel bolt pattern.

You can refer to the linked articles (concerning adding disc brakes to a trailer) for more on each of the items needed and the considerations for selecting the parts you need. Both hydraulic surge couplers and electric-over-hydraulic (EOH) actuators are available and each article covers one specific application.

If you choose an EOH actuator you will also need a trailer brakes controller that is compatible, such as the Prodigy P2 # 90885 from Tekonsha.
