I have a 2011 Ford F350 with the integral brake controller. Will this electric/hydraulic actuator work with the Ford brake controller?

Yes, the Hydrastar Vented Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator, # HS381-8067, will work with the factory brake controller on your 2011 Ford F-350. The earlier Ford brake controllers had trouble with these types of system, but Ford changed the brake controller they used in 2009 and they have had very few problems ever since.

This actuator will work with most breakaway systems, but if you need to add a breakaway kit to your trailer, I recommend the Hydrastar Breakaway Kit, # HS496-82. If you need any more components for your trailer, just let us know.
