Question:
I am purchasing a small camper that has a 7-pin wiring harness connection to charge battery. I am only familiar with the 4-pin flat connection. Do you have a 7-pin wiring harness or is there an adapter? Or what? Thanks for the help. 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan.

For your 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan, you will need to start with a 4-way trailer connection like you mentioned. If you don't already have this, then I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56331. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your Dodge Grand Caravan's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. Once you've plugged in the t-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse. I've attached a video of this install for you.
Then you will need to install the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7. This will give you the 12V battery maintain/charge wire as well as the brake controller wire and reverse light wire. If you trailer does not have trailer brakes, then you can skip the installation of the brake controller wiring. If it does have trailer brakes, then I recommend you also add the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This brake controller has an easy to understand LCD screen that makes understanding your trailer connection easy and also has simple presets based on trailer size. It will apply the brakes on your trailer at the same time and with the same intensity as you hit the brake pedal in your Grand Caravan.
This will give you all you need to tow your trailer with 7-way trailer connection plug.
