Question:

is a tire size st225/75r15 correct for a two horse trailor,,I replaced old ones with same size new

When replacing tires you will want to use a similar size tire to what you had on the trailer previously. You also want to account for the weight of the load the trailer will need to handle at its max capacity. The weight of the two horses will absolutely matter as well as the weight of the trailer itself. I recommend going with a load range e tire for your two horse trailer.
