Expert Reply:
Thule Swing 4 Bike Rack - 2" Hitches - Swinging Item # TH9027XT will allow the rear doors to open more than any other bike rack would on your Mercedes Sprinter. The passenger's side rear door might not open all the way but it will open most of the way.
Measuring from the center of the hitch receiver to the nearest part of the rack when it is swung out is 31 inches. You will be able to tell how much the doors can open by measuring from the center of your hitch receiver 31 inches to the right side and comparing that to how far the door sticks out when opened (also measured from the center of the hitch receiver opening).
