Does C13406 Hitch Require 2017 Toyota RAV4 Bumper to be Trimmed

Question:

I found a qanda that says that only an appearance panel needs to be trimmed or removed, however, the video shows that a small portion of the bumper had to be trimmed off. The video is of a 2015 RAV4 installation but I have a 2017 RAV4. Will I not have to trim my bumper or will I have the same issue as the 2015 bumper? Thanks

The trimming of the rear fascia on the Toyota RAV4's is slightly different from the 2013-2015 models and the 2016 and 2017 models.
