Question:
Hello, I am in desperate need of a new axle/hub kit for my 1989 magic tilt jon boat trailer. I want to place the order this week but the problem is, Im not exactly sure which product to purchase. Part # 20440I-ST-60 was initially the part I thought would work best but after taking a better look at my old axle, I dont think thats the case. Now Im starting to believe that Item # CE33201GA paired with a 4 bolt hub may be the better option. I have attached a few pictures of the trailer so you can get a better idea of what I am talking about. I dont have the measurements of the current axle but I was hoping you would be familiar with the magic tilt brand. I can get the measurement if need be. Please help me so I can lock in this purchase and get back on the water. Thanks!!

The CE Smith Trailer Axle Beam, # CE33201GA, will work well for your boat trailer as long as the length and weight capacity match your current axle.
You will need to measure from hub face to hub face and then from the spring seat centers to determine which axle will be the best option. You will also need to know what bolt pattern you have on your current hubs. I attached a help article on how to determine this as well.
If the CE Smith axle matches the specs of your current axle, then the etrailer Trailer Idler Hub Assembly, # AKIHUB-440-2-G-1K, will work well for this axle. The hub assembly will include bearings, grease seal, dust cap, and lug nuts. The hub has a galvanized finish offer rust and corrosion resistance.
