Hello, I am interested in the Curt Trailer brake controller for a 2002 Suburban. This product is part #C24VV, C51342. The listing states that this product is for vehicles without factory trailer connector. Other products specify factory 7-way connector. What is the difference between these controllers? Will this product work with my vehicle, which has a factory 7-way? Thank you,

All you need to install the Curt Brake Controller part # C24VV in your 2002 Chevy Suburban with the factory 7-way is the install harness part # C51342 that you referenced.

This harness plugs into the port under your dash and it will be fully active and ready to go once you mount it.
