I do have a set of towing mirrors for your 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD you may like but none of our custom fit towing mirrors designed to encase your factory mirrors will work with telescopic side mirrors. I recommend using the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors w/ Turn Signals part # KS62075-76G. The K-Source mirrors can extend outward 4" providing you with 22" of extension from the vehicle to the outside edge of the mirrors. They will also retain the factory lighting, powered, and heated functions of your current mirrors (if equipped).
I have attached a review and installation video of these mirrors for you.
